When do you use the Future Tense (going to)?
1) Use it when you want to make predictions or guesses about the future.
e.g:
i) People are going to travel differently.
ii) Look at those cars! They are going to crash!
2) Use it when you want to talk about future intentions or plans.
e.g:
i) He is going to hold a conference next week.
This is a formula of Future Tense (going to) that will help you understand and remember better.
'Going To' + Base form of Verb
Subject   |    Be   |    Going to  |    Base form of verb  |    The rest of the sentence   |   
I  |    am  |    going to  |    leave  |    soon.  |   
You   |    are  |    going to  |    leave  |    soon.  |   
He  She  It   |    is  |    going to  |    leave  |    soon.  |
